Vacation

I am on vacation this week visiting family. I will be back next week and then the following week I start back to school. Oh goodie! I am ready for it though. It has been a lot of work getting ready, but I am finally there. I just have to go home, do laundry, and pack. Plus a few doctor's appointments.

I have noticed my site (http://www.accessabilitysolutions.net/ stats have gone down since I have not been tending to it for a few days. I am going to have to work on that. See you all next week.

Welcome to my own little comfort zone on the web. I can come here and watch the fish, play in the water, or listen to my favorite chimes. I hope you will enjoy my favorite place to be along with me. As of this weekend, things are going to start getting hectic in my life for awhile. That's okay, at least I know I have this little site in the world wide web where I can come and relax. We all need a place to relax, unwind, put our feet up, and I hope this can be a place of refuge when th ings get a little nuts. Sit back, relax, put your feet up, grab a drink of your choice, and watch the fish.

My site is http://www.accessabilitysolutions.net/

Not much happening on my site right now. I did add a top spots section, and I did join MySpace, although I have absolutely no idea what I am doing over there.

Life is kind of hectic right now, so I am not spending as much time on the computer as I would like. I am busy working, learning new things, getting ready to go back to school, etc. I am hoping my website isn't going to lose ground while I can't pay as much attention to it. It is still not what I had hoped for. I had hoped for a lot more traffic, a lot more hits, people to utilize what is there more, and find there what they are looking for. Maybe my hopes were too high. I know my site isn't fancy, and I don't have a lot of expertise in developing a site, and I simply don't know that much about advertising, but I thought I did a good job with what I have to work with. I can't seem to generate a lot of interest. Network solutions is submitting my site to the search engines once a month, and I am submitting whenever I think about it, but that doesn't seem to be enough. If I wanted my site to be a personal homepage I wouldn't have put so much money or work into it, a blog would have sufficed, but I wanted more. Maybe I was wrong.

Too Techie

Okay, I have been told I am being too technical here. Well, the sole purpose of this blog was so that I would have more links to my site on the internet, so I would get a higher search engine ranking.

However, if you really want to know what I think, I can't understand why people are afraid of guide dogs. We walk through Walmart and hear screams. I have literally seen people at work get up on a table so they won't be near my dog. Does she look like a killer? How can anyone think that little sweet face could possibly be aggressive? She is a guide dog, not a guard dog. My hand is on her harness and leash. She is not running around the store or work attacking people. She is not out of control. I think people just need to get a grip and let me handle my dog. Guide dogs are not taught to attack. I heard a story once about a guide dog school that used to train their dogs to attack on command, but they *DON'T* do that anymore! I could not tell you if that story was even true or not, but it was just something I heard.

I love to talk about my dog. I love to brag about her and occasionally I don't mind people stopping me and asking to pet her, but paleeeze, not all the time. I have a life, errands, shopping, things to do, I like to eat in restaurants without being interrupted constantly. And, while I am at it, if I ask you to please not pet my dog, or if you ask and I say no, the answer is truly no. Don't pet her anyway thinking I don't realize it. She loves attention, and I adore her and want to make her happy, but as my guide dog she has to remain focused on her work. Would you like it if I asked to pet your eyes? Same difference. I know she is adorable and irresistable, and all of that, but she is a working dog. She helps keep me safe.

Oh, my website url is http://www.accessabilitysolutions.net/

Sorry if this was a bit harsh, but there are days...

I tried to change my website design this morning, big mistake. It would let me do it, but then it looked really funky and saved some of the changes from my old design. I didn't like it, so I put it back the way it was. I called Network Solutions and they said it was because of my monitor resolution. I got some guy offshore. I was about to call back, but he sounded like he knew what he was talking about, or he had a good script.

I have made some other changes though to my website. I found that LinkShare really is legitimate and really does pay out. It's just too bad the only place I am getting sales from is Drugstore.com, and that is only because I know the person who is doing the buying.

Again my url is http://www.accessabilitysolutions.net/

Okay, I just got done editing my website as well as http://www.gingerresources.com/ My website is:http://www.accessabilitysolutions.net/ I know my blog isn't much to read, especially since it is only about my trials and tribulations with my website, but the added links to my site do give me a better Alexis rating.

Well, I guess there is not a whole lot different with my site http://www.accessabilitysolutions.net/ I did try some things with Amazon that didn't work out as far as some widgets. I don't know why they didn't work, but oh well.

I do need to do some editing on my site. I know it needs that. I have been spending a lot of time editing http://www.gingerresources.com/ that I just havne't had a lot of time to spend on my own site. I am going to try to rectify that so my own site gets beautimus. Don't forget to download my toolbar at: http://AccessAbilitySolutions.GreatToolbars.com
